As of April 26, 2013, the Lafarge Group divested its cement activity in Ukraine to CRH plc, the international building materials group. This business comprises one wet process cement plant located in Mykolaiv of Lviv region, in the western part of the country.


About PJSC Mykolaivcement


Public Joint Stock Company Mykolaivcement is a cement plant in the town of Mykolaiv in Lviv region, and has been in operation since 1950.

It produces three types of cement, the properties and characteristics of which fully meet a maximum variety of application needs: 


  • Supercem - PC I 500 - Portland cement for concretes;
  • Standard - PC II / A - Slag 400 - Portland composite cement for construction work;
  • Universal - PC II / B - Portland composite (Slag-Ash) 400 - cement for concretes and mortars.

The product is shipped in bulk and in packaging (25 kg or 50 kg bags palletized). The product is shipped to customers by trucks and railway.


Cement made by PJSC Mykolaivcement is certified in conformance to the State Standards of Ukraine B V.2.7-46:2010.


The products and the production process conform to the highest standards of quality, safety and respect for the environment.In 2012, the company supplied almost 800,000 tons of cement to customers in all parts of the country who used this cement in construction of many residential houses, schools, hospitals and Ukraine's infrastructure. In particular, the company's products were used in construction projects relating to the Euro-2012 Football Championship. 


The plant holds a strong position on the national cement market. 


In 2013 it became part of the CRH plc, the international building materials group.
